At Congregation Agudas Achim, we pride ourselves on welcoming anyone in an interfaith relationship. We have a number of interfaith families in our congregation who are able to fully participate in our congregational and community activities. We aim to make everyone in our congregation feel as welcome as possible. Interfaith families are welcome to participate in as much or as little as they are comfortable with, while adhering to Halacha (Jewish Law). This includes, but is not limited to attending any service or holiday celebration, readings in English (or Hebrew if one is comfortable) during services, and participation in family life-cycle events such as baby namings, bris (ritual circumcision for boys), Bar/Bat Mitzvah, and more. Our clergy and staff are always happy to answer any questions and help out in any way for any interfaith couple looking to join and become part of our community.
