The goal of the Inda Posner Religious School (IPRS) is to provide your child with the best religious school experience possible. Jewish learning as a lifelong process that begins at home and is enhanced in the Religious School with further learning in the home and the Jewish community. We strive to instill a love of Judaism and Torah that will motivate our students toward continued Jewish growth throughout their lives.
IPRS provides a Jewish education for children from Kinder through Confirmation (tenth grade). In addition to our excellent teaching staff, our students benefit by building long lasting relationships with our Rabbi and Hazzan, who also teach the students either through formal classes or our many diverse educational programs.
IPRS DAYS & HOURS FOR 2016– 2017 SCHOOL YEAR:
Grades 3 – 7: Wednesday, 4:15 – 6:00 p.m.
Grades K – 7: Sunday, 9:00 a.m. – Noon
Grades 8 – 10: Sunday, 10:15 – Noon
Grades 11 – 12: First and Third Sundays, 12:15 – 1:15 p.m.
The school, along with our active Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) provides many enriching and fun family holiday programs throughout the year. In addition, age appropriate youth services are scheduled every Shabbat morning and Shabbat participation is encouraged by all students as part of our overall school program.
