Education at Congregation Agudas Achim

Agudas offers a variety of adult education opportunities, early childhood education, as well as Sunday School and religious education.

No matter where you are in your Jewish journey, Agudas runs a variety of educational programs and events aimed to enrich your spiritual experience. Learning is a lifelong journey – and we’d love for you to come learn with us.

Heintz Preschool of Congregation Agudas Achim

Heintz Preschool is an inclusive school that takes pride in the nurturing of young minds through experienced, passionate, hands-on teaching and daily unique learning opportunities for infants through five year olds.

In the Classrooms

Structured school days are designed to build sound foundations by meeting developmental, social, and academic needs of each child. HPS teachers are experienced and student/teacher ratios in the classrooms are kept at a minimum, which allows for hands-on, one-on-one experiences with students, and maximizes opportunities to create creative curiosity.

Daily Dynamic Enrichments

Children are active and enriched both physically and mentally through classes every day. The enrichments include:

  • Yoga
  • Spanish
  • Hebrew
  • Drama
  • And more!

Classrooms

Open Enrollment for classes is all year round, depending upon space availability.
  • Orange Birds – Infants
  • Green Birds – Walking to 18 months
  • Purple Birds – 18 months to 2 years
  • Yellow Birds – 2 to 3 years
  • Blue Birds – 3 to 4 years
  • Red Birds – 4 to 5 years (Pre-K)

Flexible Schedules

We allow students to be enrolled full time, 3 days per week, and 4 days per week.

Extended Care

Extended care is available before and after the regular program of 9:00am - 3:00pm (7:00am - 9:00am and 3:00pm - 6:00pm). Our current rates are $10 per hour, or $300 per month.

Seasonal Camps

We offer Winter Camp, Spring Break Camp and a Summer Literacy Camp! All our camps are open for preschool aged children up to 8 year olds.

Special Programs

Participation is actively encouraged amongst our preschool families. Join us on the first Friday of every month for Tot Shabbat from 5:30 - 6:00pm! Stay tuned for other fun programs and events.

We offer religious school educational programs from Pre-K through Confirmation/High School. Register now for the 2023-2024 IPRS intake!

Socialize with other Jewish youth, enrich connections with Israel, develop new Hebrew language skills, participate in interactive prayer experiences, enjoy meaningful lessons through project-based learning, social action projects, B’nai Mitzvah prep, confirmation and so much more!
