Agudas Achim Sisterhood is a member of the Southwest Branch of Women's League for Conservative Judaism.
The goal of Congregation Agudas Achim's Sisterhood is
to enhance your family life, your spiritual needs, and

Our objectives are to:
1. Promote the welfare of Agudas Achim and its religious schools
2. Stress the importance of Shabbat and Jewish Festivals
3. Foster a sense of communal responsibility
4. Sponsor and promote educational and cultural responsibilities
5. Participate in the work of the Torah Fund
6. Participate in activities to strengthen relationships with Israel
Without you, we are one woman short!

Bimah Baskets Available
In many areas of the country “Bimah Baskets” are used instead of flowers. Flowers cost quite a lot and die very shortly. The Bimah Baskets decorate and do good works at the same time! Throughout the year, once a month, we will make similar baskets as decorations for our Shabbat services to be subsequently donated to charity.
If you would like to contribute to a Bimah Basket, or sponsor a basket for a simcha or Bar/Bat Mitzvah, please call the synagogue at 479-0307. A separate acknowledgement will be added to the Kolenu and Shabbat sheets.
