of Congregation Agudas Achim

Welcome to the Inda Posner Religious School (IPRS). Our goal is to provide your child with the best religious school experience possible. To accomplish this we emphasize the words Sh’lom Bayit. Sh’lom Bayit means “peace in the home” and the root of the word “shalom” means completeness or wholeness. Bayit literally means house or home but can imply family too. Our Synagogue and school serve as an extension of your family and it takes all members of the family to make our children’s Jewish education complete and whole.

Parents are very important to the educational family. As parents, the example you set frequently means so much more to your children than words. Taking part in continuing your own Jewish education through Adult Education or attendance at community events lets your child know that Jewish education is important and of value to you. Attending Shabbat services with your child lets him/her know that this is important to you as a Jewish family.

We are fortunate to have as part of our educational family a knowledgeable group of dedicated and talented teachers.

Framework for Excellence

The Inda Posner Religious School of Congregation Agudas Achim is proud to announce that it has become a Framework for Excellence School. The program was designed by United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism to create the best synagogue Hebrew schools across the country.
