Shabbat Tots: A Free New Program From Heintz Preschool
Heintz Preschool will be initiating a new Friday morning "Shabbat Tots" program! Designed and led by Dena Hoenig Valdez, Heintz Preschool Director, the weekly class will be more than just a "Mommy and Me" program. There is no cost to participate and the program is open to the community. Aimed at children 2 years old and younger, the children, along with parents, will enjoy a morning focused on introducing the toddlers to the joys of Shabbat and the Jewish educational experience. Beginning Friday, January 8, 2010, classes begin at 9:15 a.m. at the Heintz Preschool Friday morning Shabbat Service with Rabbi Bitran and Hazzan Lipton. The class will then separate out and enjoy a morning of group time, enrichment activities, special projects, songs and dance.
