We are a School of Excellence!
We are enormously proud that the Inda Posner Religious School of Congregation
Agudas Achim in April 2005 became the first Conservative Hebrew School in Texas
to be designated a Framework for Excellence School by United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.
The goal of this program is simply to create the best synagogue Hebrew schools across the
country. Of 550 Conservative Hebrew schools across the country, only 75 have been chosen
as Framework for Excellence schools.
Our selection means that the Inda Posner Religious School met or surpassed high standards
for curriculum, school hours, family education, Tzedakah projects, a school mission statement,
professional development, teacher in-service training, and more.
The United Synagogue “Framework for Excellence” certification recognizes that the Inda Posner
Religious School has assembled a solid team of professional educators that works closely with
lay leadership, parents and students to create and sustain a unique school that insures the
future of Conservative Judaism in South Texas.
